The online advertisement of the hotel with beautiful views. The indoor swimming pool for kids.
1) rudeness of the staff. 2) not being able to enjoy any view unless you pay. 3) lack of information being mentioned in booking.com 4) being categorized at the breakfast table. My biggest issue with this hotel is that they advertise some very nice pictures of the mountains, the breathtaking view from the restaurant BUT your breakfast table is chosen for you. If you want to go for dinner? Guess what? You will be escorted to the very same table you had breakfast on. Don’t get me wrong, there is an area with beautiful view but that is given to whoever has booked a bigger, better and more expensive room. Even if they leave them empty you are not allowed to sit there. They do have a table with a view but if you wish to sit there there is a 39 euro charge per adult and 20 euro for a 5 year old kid. The balcony is restricted for dining at night. You have to pay a fee to get in and there they serve you few drinks that are chosen from a set menu. Although I had paid for 6 nights in advance with no refund policy, I left the hotel and went elsewhere. Once they knew I am leaving they forced me to come and settle any unpaid bills being afraid that I won’t pay my unpaid bills and leave without telling them. :-) And that was direct initiative of the manager in charge not just an untrained staff. This showed me the objective of the hotel managment and that is to make the most out of every visitor regardless of their reputation and customer happiness. I am writing this review in order for others to know what to expect and to avoid being disappointed. My suggestion for the hotel management? Let booking.com write a very thin line about your policies of choosing the guests tables for them. This way a lot of disappointments can be avoided.
